This girls ACDC tshirt features a picture of frontman Brian Johnson. Johnson became AC/DC frontman in 1980 after the untimely death of their original singer Bon Scott when he was 33. Johnson had been the frontman of 'Geordie' who had a few hit records in the late 70's. He was invited to try out for the vacant spot in AC-DC after a fan sent a tape of his Geordie performances to the band. He impressed in the auditions and was then offered the job. Since joining the band he has co-written all of AC-DC's songs. The first album release with Brian Johnson singing was 'Back In Black' and is the bands biggest selling record, ranking #2 in the all-time album sales records, behind only Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'. Johnson is recognisable by his flat cap which he wears on stage.
