This AC-DC t shirt features an image of lead singer Brian Johnson. Johnson took over as AC DC lead singer in 1980 after the tragic death of their original frontman Bon Scott at the age of 33 from alcohol poisoning. Johnson was the singer of 'Geordie' at the time who had a few hit singles in the late 70's. He was asked to audition for the vacant frontman spot after a Geordie fan sent a tape of his vocals to AC/DC. He stood out in the auditions and was offered the position, since when he has co-written all of AC-DC's material. The first album released with Johnson as vocalist 'Back In Black' is the bands most successful album and ranks as number two in the all-time album sales charts, behind Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'. Brian Johnson is known for his flat cap which he always wears on stage.
