They made five hit albums between 1978 and 1983, winning 5 Grammys. Since The Police split, Sting has worked been a solo performer, recording 8 platinum albums. Sting has also had a successful acting career appearing in Quadrophenia, Dune and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels among other movies. Sting has also starred in an episode of TV show The Simpsons.
