The item blocks were first introduced in Super Mario Brothers in 1985, Item blocks were block that contained coins or power ups that had to be hit to release the contents. Some of these power ups would include Super Mushrooms, 1-up mushrooms, fire flowers or a star. This is an officially licensed tshirt.
