If you ever find yourself ordering a cream tea in the West Country and worried about the ultimate faux pas, then help is at hand. Its very confusing as to the correct order of application of the key ingredients: clotted cream and jam.

If you lean towards Devon then its cream, then jam. If Cornwall is more your style, then its jam first, then cream.
