This girls Badly Drawn Boy tshirt has an print of the badly drawn one - Damon Gough. Gough chose his stage name after watching a childrens programme called "Sam and his Magic Bell", the main character of which is a badly drawn boy. In the year 2000 Badly Drawn Boy won the Mercury Music Prize for his first album "The Hour of the Bewilderbeast". His next record "About a Boy" was the soundtrack to a film based on Nick Hornby's book of the same name. He followed it with 2002's "Have You Fed the Fish?", which sounded more like mainstream pop and was not welcomed by the music press. He then released his fourth album "One Plus One Is One" in 2004 before deciding to leave his record label XL Recordings and signed with EMI. The first Badly Drawn Boy EMI album was his latest "Born in the UK", dealing with his stories of growing up in the UK, released in '06. This is a girls classic fit 100% cotton Badly Drawn Boy t-shirt.
