This kids Audioslave t shirt features a picture of Audioslave/Soundgarden front man Chris Cornell. His first band Soundgarden came out of the Seattle grunge scene of the late 80's and they were very successful. They made 7 albums, achieving international recognition. Soundgarden split in '97 and Cornell then made a solo album before moving on to his next band, Audioslave. Zach de la Rocha had quit Rage Against The Machine the other members were looking for a new frontman. They invited Cornell to join them and Audioslave were born. Audioslave recorded 3 albums before Cornell decided to quit due to musical differences. He then returned to his solo project, releasing 2 albums so far. He has also written and performed the title track for Casino Royale and also recently made a record with Timberland.
