This girls Audioslave tshirt features a print showing Audioslave and Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell in action. Beginning in the Seattle grunge scene of the late 80's, Cornell performed with his first band Soundgarden, who were very successful. They released seven albums, selling millions of records and achieving international recognition. Soundgarden parted company in '97 and Cornell made a solo record before joining his next band, Audioslave. Audioslave formed after Zach de la Rocha quit Rage Against The Machine and the other members looked for a new frontman. Cornell was invited to join the band and Audioslave were born. Audioslave made three albums between 2002 and 2006 before Cornell deciding to quit due to musical differences. He has now returned to his solo career, releasing 2 solo records since he quit Audioslave. He also wrote and performed the title track for Casino Royale and recently made a single with Timberland.
