This Guns n' Roses t-shirt features an image of Jeffery Dean Isbell better known as Izzy Stradlin. A founding member of Guns and Roses, Stradlin had been in bands called "Shire", "Rose" and "Hollywood Rose" with Axl Rose before hooking up with Slash, Duff and Steven Adler to become Guns 'n' Roses. Stradlin was instrumental in the writing of Guns n Roses breakthrough album "Appetite For Destruction" and their huge follow-up , the two "Use Your Illusion" albums. He was however struggling against alcohol and drug problems and this led to him beginning to distance himself from the other members as they were a bad influence on him. During the band's tour to support their Use Your Illusion releases Stradlin travelled seperately from the rest of the band in order to avoid temptation. He began to grow incresingly tired of issues within the band, especially Axl Rose's tendency to miss shows or walk off stage half way through their set. After yet another tantrum by Axl Rose at a show in Germany in 1991 when Axl refused to return to the stage and finish the set, Stradlin had had enough. He quit the band and began recording his own stuff with a new band "Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds". Since 1996 Stradlin has appeared on stage several times with the new GnR line-up, guesting on songs he had played with Axl in their heyday. This is a 100% cotton Izzy Stradlin tshirt.
