This girls Joan Jett tshirt has a print of The Blackhearts and The Runaways vocalist Joan Jett. Jett's musical career started when she formed The Runaways in 1975, who were an all girl rock band. Their biggest hit was "Cherry Bomb" and has since been covered by many other artists. The Runaways made five albums before they parted company in 1979. Jett then focussed on her solo work for a while before deciding to form The Blackhearts which is the band she has had most success with. They recorded several albums, their biggest hit being a version of The Arrows' "I love Rock n Roll" which was at the top spot of the US charts for seven consecutive weeks.
