Buddy Guy girls t shirt

This girls Buddy Guy tshirt features a full colour print showing the American blues/rock singer and guitarist. George "Buddy" Guy was heavily influenced in the 50's by Blues musician Muddy Waters and later worked as a session musician for him and others. His own heavy-blues style was not rated highly by the record companies he was signed to during the early years of his musical career and because of this much of his material was  not recorded for many years. Guy was part of the '69 Supershow in Staines, England which also featured Led Zeppelin. He was a flamboyant performer, and hugely respected by many other artists who felt that he had not had the success he deserved. Eric Clapton helped to revive the Blues singers career in the late 80's when he arranged for Buddy Guy to feature in the lineup of the "24 Nights" all star blues show which was staged at The Royal Albert Hall. He has now won 5 Grammy awards, as well as being named the Greatest Living Electric Blues Guitarist, and was even given the highest award an American artist can get, The National Medal of Arts, by The President of the United States.
