For all of us who counted down the days until the cinema release of the recent Alice in Wonderland film, Disney has confirmed we will not have such a long wait to get our hands on the DVD.

The movie, directed by American Tim Burton, will be available to buy for home viewing from June 4th.

As if that wasn’t enough, the film-maker has also revealed it will release Alice in Wonderland on Blu-ray and with an extra digital copy.

And when you have relived every second of the epic adventure, a host of bonus features will be available to watch.

But if, understandably, just over two months is too long for you, then maybe a graphic T-shirt featuring some of the story’s most popular characters may be in order.

Alice in Wonderland was released in the cinema in March this year, with some of the film being shot in Devon.
