Legendary guitarist Slash is a hero to all of us who lived through and loved the heyday of Guns N’ Roses.

And now, the charismatic musician has announced plans to go back on the road and perform across the UK, according to NME magazine.

He will play in Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh and Manchester in June and July, with tickets for all four gigs likely to be short in supply.

I know I’ll be trying to bag a spot in the crowd as soon as possible.

Another thing I’m sure of is that the ultimate look for any of Slash’s performances is a music T-shirt featuring his face or lyrics.

Some could even go in a Guns N’ Roses T-shirt, in tribute to his work with the band.

The T-shirts may come in equally handy when going to see the group, who are also still touring, albeit with only lead singer Axl Rose remaining from the original line-up.
