For some of us, there is no greater sound in the world than the thud of leather on willow.

I am, of course, talking about cricket, which is back in the headlines this week as the World Twenty20 series in the Caribbean gathers pace.

England secured their place in the Super Eight stage on Monday (May 3rd) after a nervous match against Ireland that ended in a wash out.

And all of the big hitters – such as Australia, India, South Africa and New Zealand – remain in the competition.
