Music T-shirt 'ideal for Libertines fans' The Libertines’ drummer Gary Powell is set to play the Reading and Leeds festivals with his other band before the four-piece take to the main stage.

Powell’s band The Invasion Of … are set to play the BBC Introducing Stage on Friday August 27th in Leeds and at Reading the following the day.

Fans of The Libertines may wish to pick up a music T-shirt paying tribute to the group’s singer and guitarist Pete Doherty.

The design features an image of Doherty playing guitar onstage and is available from 8ball.co.uk in a range of colours. It could be the ideal choice for those attending the event.

Guns N’ Roses, The Arcade Fire and Blink 182 are the festival’s headliners in the main stage slots.

Other acts playing across the weekend at the two sites include Dizze Rascal, Biffy Clyro, Lostprophets and Paramore.

The festival runs from August 27th to the 29th.
