Art styled on Banksy appears in Derry

More budding Banksy-style artists have come out of the woodwork, this time at a youth club in Derry.
The Derry Journal reports that kids from the Fountain Estate have been working on a graffiti-art mural at the front of the Cathedral Youth Club over the past week.
This comes a week after similar work in Bournemouth was reported by the Daily Echo, although this time local artist Sean Cavan has been teaching the children the ins and outs of graffiti painting.
Speaking to the Derry Journal about the project, which is being funded by the Playhouse Theatre, Mr Cavan praised the stealthy street artist.
He said: “Banksy is always in the news and for all the right reasons. His art is really easy to tap into and a lot of young people see it as something cool.”
Fans of this kind of this type of work can grab a Banksy T-shirt from the range available at 8ball.co.uk.
