Dave Davies: The Kinks will not reform

Suggestions of a reunion for The Kinks seem unlikely, if a recent interview is anything to go by.
The band’s guitarist Dave Davies has told the Daily Mail he would never entertain the idea of a reunion for fear of tainting the group’s legacy.
“It would be a shame. You don’t need to see silly old men in wheelchairs singing You Really Got Me,” he said.
He also took a swipe at his brother Ray, comparing him to a vampire and suggested: “[He] sucks me dry of ideas, emotions and creativity. It’s toxic for me to be with him. He’s a control freak.”
Fans of The Kinks may wish to pay tribute to them with a rock T-shirt in their honour from 8ball.co.uk.
Girls will love the Group design, which is on a skinny white T-shirt and shows an image of the act in their heyday.
