A collection of personal memorabilia owned by Neil Young has been damaged in a fire.
The legendary rocker stored a number of items – including six vintage cars and other things like paintings – in a 10,000 sq ft garage in the La Honda district of San Francisco.
Fire fighters have stated they managed to save about 70 per cent of the items inside, however some things were destroyed in the blaze.
Officials have launched an investigation into what caused the fire, but it is not thought to be suspicious, according to Belmont-San Carlos fire chief Doug Fry.
Fans of Young – famed for songs including Like A Hurricane – may wish to pay tribute to him by sporting a classic rock t-shirt in his honour from the range available at 8ball.co.uk.
Why not opt for the Neil Young 70 design, which shows an image of the singer songwriter in his youth and is accompanied by the slogan “Neil Young London 1970″.
