New music featuring Noel Gallagher could soon be heard, it has been revealed.

The Last Shadow Puppets member Miles Kane has revealed the former Oasis man sings on his forthcoming solo album.

Kane also worked with Gallagher on the Mancunian legend’s debut solo effort, lending his guitar playing skills.

Speaking at London’s Water Rats venue where he played a gig last night (November 23rd) he explained Gallagher features on a song called My Fantasy.

He told BBC Newsbeat: “I texted him saying: ‘I need some icing on this tune,’ and he said: ‘Icing is what I do very well.”

Despite this, a release from Gallagher is not expected any time soon as he has previously admitted it would be “well into” 2011 at the earliest.
