Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has admitted the group are on the verge of releasing their first concept album.

Speaking to the BBC, the singer revealed details about the as-yet-untitled record, which is being produced by Brian Eno and Marcus Dravs – the same team behind the band’s last album Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends.

Martin told the broadcaster the LP will be from the point of view of two people who are a bit lost.

“Two like-minded outsiders who meet in a very difficult environment and therefore have a journey together,” he added.
