Legendary guitarist Johnny Marr has revealed he is set to agree a “serious” book deal to publish his autobiography.
The Smiths axeman, now in The Cribs, announced the news via Twitter and suggested he may have to dedicate a little less time to his music to get the tome completed.
“I have been offered a book deal, a serious one. I’d get into it and that would mean less time on songs. It will happen though,” he posted.
Fans may be able to learn more about his relationship with Morrissey as he added it would of course be an autobiography.
Fans of the performer – famed for songs including Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now, This Charming Man and There Is A Light That Never Goes Out – might like to pay tribute to him by sporting one of the alternative t-shirts available here at 8ball.co.uk.
