Slipknot's Corey Taylor the new Velvet Revolver frontman? Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor has refused to confirm or deny rumours suggesting he will be unveiled as the new singer of Velvet Revolver.

The group currently consists of former Guns N’ Roses members Slash, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum and Dave Kushner, formerly of punk band Wasted Youth.

Speaking to Billboard.com, when pressed on the subject he merely stated “to be continued!”.

This follows Velvet Revolver’s recent announcement that they have found “a younger and stronger” frontman to replace former vocalist Scott Weiland, who is now back with Stone Temple Pilots.

According to reports a new record is expected to be released by the group before the end of 2011, although more information is likely to be known once a new frontman has been revealed.

Taylor is likely be busy for some parts of 2011 with Slipknot scheduled to appear at Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth this summer.
