David Cameron named Villain of the Year UK prime minister David Cameron has received the dubious honour of being named Vilain of the Year at the Shockwaves NME Awards 2011.

The music magazine’s annual ceremony took place last night (February 23rd) at London’s Brixton Academy and saw a host of stars including Muse, Mark Ronson, Kate Moss and Juliette Lewis in attendance.

However, Dave managed to beat off the competition of fellow nominees Simon Cowell, Justin Bieber, Axl Rose and deputy prime minister Nick Clegg to secure the gong, which was voted for by the publication’s readers.

Whether you’re of the belief that the prime minister is a villain or a hero you can show your thoughts with one of the political t-shirts on offer here at 8ball.co.uk.

Why not opt for the David Cameron Devil design, which features an image of DC giving his famous thumbs up, which has been altered to look as though he is holding up a trident? ADNFCR-2904-ID-800426175-ADNFCR
