Gallagher: Oasis will never reform Liam Gallagher has written off the possibility of an Oasis reunion.

The 38-year-old declared that he would “never” get back with his old band in an interview with the Guardian.

With reference to new outfit Beady Eye, the singer said: “This is not a stopgap until me and Noel come to our senses and start Oasis again. That is well and truly done.”

Gallagher also used the opportunity to continue the war of words with brother and former bandmate Noel, who claimed that a lack of support and understanding was behind the Oasis split in August 2009.

Oasis recorded 11 albums – including Definitely Maybe, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory and Be Here Now – in a career spanning 14 years.

The frontman was upbeat about his new group’s forthcoming tour ahead of the release of its album Different Gear, Still Speeding on February 28th.
