Rock t-shirts perfect for a Guitar Hero
filed in Gaming News on Feb.10, 2011
Guitar Hero, the music video game, has been axed by the company that publishes it after almost six years.
Activision Blizzard stated it is dropping the franchise because the popularity of music-themed games has declined.
Fourteen different versions of Guitar Hero have been released since its launch in 2005, while other games set for the chop include DJ Hero and True Crime.
Activision Publishing Chief Executive Eric Hirshberg said: “We simply cannot make these games profitable based on current economics.”
However, music fans need not despair as a potential solution is available here at 8ball.co.uk with one of the rock t-shirts on offer – the Air Guitar Hero design.
It allows the wearer to show they can play along to their favourite track regardless of whether there is a videogame to help them.
There’s a garment for kids about to rock too, thanks to the Future Guitar Hero design.
