Linkin Park contribute song to Japan relief effort Linkin Park are one of many acts donating songs to a collection of tracks in aid of people whose lives need rebuilding following the recent devastation in Japan.

Entitled Download to Donate, music fans can help support victims of the earthquake and tsunami by downloading a growing number of tracks by artists like Enrique Iglesias, Plain White T’s and Angels & Airwaves.

Linkin Park have contributed a song called Issho Ni to the release.

The offering is the product of the Music For Relief initiative and any profits made from sales will help finance the efforts of Save the Children in Japan.

Save the Children president Charles MacCormack explained that infants are always the “most vulnerable” in humanitarian tragedies and expressed his appreciation of the musical effort.

“We are grateful this partnership with Music For Relief will help address the immediate and ongoing needs of children and families impacted by this emergency,” he said.
