A new online collaboration featuring Damon Albarn has been launched A new collaboration has been launched by Damon Albarn, Dan the Automator and Kid Koala that has appeared online.

The previous unreleased song has been leaked online and it is rumoured to feature on the latest album by Dan the Automator, NME reports.

Each of the artists have worked together in the past, most notably on the self-titled debut release for Gorillaz back in 2001 and on the Deltron 3030 album of 2000.

The leak occurred after Kid Koala played the track during a DJing stint on a radio show. It is presently untitled.

Elsewhere, fans of indie rock might be pleased to learn that British band Kasabian are now in the studio and look set to release a new album in October.

This will be the group’s fourth studio album, following the 2009 release of West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum, Empire in 2007 and their self-titled debut album back in 2004.
