Joy Division bassist confirms second Closer date

Peter Hook has confirmed that he will perform twice in Manchester this spring on consecutive days.
Fans of Joy Division will no doubt have been giddy when he announced that his band The Light were set to play the 1980 album Closer live in the north-west.
But only so many tickets could be sold for the gig at FAC 251 on May 18th before there were none left, leaving plenty of people disappointed.
Now, those fans have a second chance to purchase a pass, as Hook will take the stage with his group the following day as well.
The Light will soon release a new single, which features an image of the former site of the legendary musical hotspot the Hacienda reduced to rubble.
Anyone heading to the concerts in Manchester this spring may want to buy Joy Division music t-shirts from 8ball.co.uk to show their loyalty to Hook’s former band.
