Kiefer Sutherland is to star in a new movie, which will also feature football legend Eric Cantona.

The 24 actor Sutherland has been confirmed as one of the cast members of action comedy Sleight of Hand.

He will be joined on screen by the footballer-cum-actor Cantona in the movie about a group of Parisian criminals who end up in a few humorous situations.

A press release for the movie said: “The series of mix-ups and double crosses culminate as the gangs are pit face to face, chasing through Paris.”

Also starring in the flick are French actors Gerard Depardieu, Jean Luc Couchard, Nora Arnezeder and Patrice Cols.

This year is set to be a busy one for Sutherland as he is taking part in television series The Confession, a TV movie called Touch and feature film Melancholi.

He is joined by actress Kirsten Dunst in this flick, which is about a planet that threatens to hit Earth.
