Bring back childhood! – things that make us want to be kids again.

You know the story - you’ve probably been there hundreds of times; sitting around with your mates and reminiscing about how great it was being 10 years old. How amazing the toys were, those games of ‘army’, or the tea parties you used to hold for your cabbage patch dolls. Perhaps you did both, we’re not here to judge. The point is we had more fun than kids nowadays. Maybe it’s a bit of a generalisation, but we didn’t need 1080p TV and subscriptions to Xbox live. The really old amongst us didn’t even need a mobile phone, we used to knock on our friends’ door.
Ok, so that may be a huge generalisation, and maybe kids are having just as much fun as we did, albeit in a more digitally enhanced way, but we had a reminiscing session at 8Ball and came up with some real gems that made us want to don our Reebok Pumps and plonk mini straws in the Tiptop carton (how’s that for a start?). Here’s a quick list of things that will get your nostalgia chip buzzing:
Raleigh Vektar, WizBall, Big Bird, Micromachines, Care Bears, Glo Bugs, DownFall, Big Trak, 2000AD, Top Trumps, Sylvanian Family, Speak and Spell, Fashion Wheel, Spirograph, Hacky sacks, Yo-yo, Zoids, Boglins, Keepers, Lego (obviously), Six Million Dollar Man, Viewmaster.
We don’t want to put too many up (we’d go on forever), but if there’s something you think needs to be added to the list then start posting!
