Joy Division artist creates new England kit Peter Saville, the designer of album covers for Factory Records bands including Joy Division and New Order, has lent his creative influence to the new England football jersey.

The shirt was worn by the team for the first time on Friday (September 3rd) as they beat Bulgaria in a 4-0 win at Wembley in their opening Euro 2012 qualifying tie.

However, people may prefer to pick up a music T-shirt featuring the designer’s work and paying tribute to the iconic Manchester band Joy Division.

A range of T-shirts are available from 8ball.co.uk, which could tempt fans of the group, including the well-known Unknown Pleasures design.

Alternatively, why not pick up the Factory Records Hearing Protection T-shirt, which was initially a poster commissioned by the label’s chief Tony Wilson to promote the legendary Hacienda venue?

Saville has also worked with bands such as Duran Duran, Suede, Roxy Music and Buzzcocks.  ADNFCR-2904-ID-800053047-ADNFCR
