Rihanna announces UK arena concerts

Music megastar Rihanna has unveiled details of an eight-date UK arena tour beginning in May.
The R&B singer, whose new album Rated R was released last month, will kick off the tour in Birmingham on May 7th before wrapping things up in Glasgow 12 days later.
She is also set to play shows in Liverpool, London, Sheffield, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle.
Rated R is Rihanna’s fourth studio album and her latest single Russian Roulette is currently at number two in the UK charts.
The album, which peaked at number 16 in the UK album chart, features some production work from the London drum and bass and dubstep duo Chase & Status.
As well as her music, the Barbadian singer is known for her eye-catching fashion sense, which ranges from designer gowns to retro T-shirts.
She recently appeared on number one single Run This Town with frequent collaborator Jay-Z and Kanye West.
