The Specials line up for the NME Awards

We’ve had the Brits, now it’s time for the Shockwaves NME Awards to take centre stage.
There are going to be fewer sparkly costumes later this week when a host of performers step into the spotlight for the show on Wednesday (February 24th).
Among the line up announced for the ceremony are The Specials, Kasabian and Paul Weller – with Britpop legend Jarvis Cocker set to host the ceremony.
No doubt there’ll be audience members donning their The Specials Tshirts – even though the group aren’t up for any gongs themselves, they’ll be among the acts entertaining the audience.
With Oasis up for four awards (including both best and worst band), it remains to be seen if Liam and Noel will be in the same room together – or if they’ll share the stage to collect any accolades coming their way.
Anyone in the front couple of rows might want to get ready to catch after Liam’s stunt at the Brits.
