Sarah Palin made her first appearance on Fox News on Tuesday (January 12th) following the announcement earlier this week that she had signed up as a commentator with the American broadcaster.
Her first interview, with Bill O’Reilly on his O’Reilly Factor show, received a lukewarm response from critics, with the newsday website describing her debut as “unimpressive”.
The Republican politician found global fame when she was selected as presidential candidate John McCain’s running mate for the 2008/09 election campaign.
Her controversial views and frequent gaffes sparked a number of political T-shirts, which could once again be seen following her appearances on the news channel.
In related news, an Alaskan publication reported that one Irish bookie has started taking bets on how long Mrs Palin will retain her job at the network.
According to the Anchorage Daily News, Paddy Power is also taking bets about which minority group she will offend first.
