John & Edward could return for Dancing On Ice
John and Edward are already being lined up to appear on ITV1′s Dancing On Ice, according to a report.
The Irish twins were eliminated from The X Factor on Sunday night (November 22nd), but have been tipped to build on their unexpected popularity with lucrative TV and music deals.
According to the Daily Mirror, ITV are keen to sign up ‘Jedward’ for the celebrity ice dancing show and the idea has been endorsed by presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, who host the programme.
In what the Times described as “an unmitigated ratings disaster” for ITV, John and Edward said goodbye to The X Factor shortly before Katie Price walked out of the jungle in I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!
The duo performed I’m Your Man mixed with elements of the Wham! Rap in Saturday’s show, which saw them sporting the Choose Life T-shirts made famous by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in the 1980s.
Despite being described as “an unstoppable machine” by Simon Cowell, Jedward found themselves in the bottom two against Olly Murs and were then voted off by the judges.
