Barack Obama Wins! How would you have voted?

Here at 8Ball we have been following the US election and throwing our support behind the man of change, Barack Obama. After a long night now he’s emerged victorious, ushering in a new era in US and world politics.
We’ve been speaking to some US ex-pats living in the UK who have been hooking themselves up with some of our Obama tshirts
We thought it would have been interesting to canvas opinion in the UK and Europe to see how people in the UK would have voted, for no other reason but to see if people outside of the USA would have voted the same way as us.
We’d love it if you the 8Ball users would let us know which way you would have voted?

I would have voted for Obama if i were an American. I think that most people outside of the USA would do the same. I think the view of the UK people of the Republicans isnt great and they see them as a threat to the world peace! Its kind of like what happened here with New Labour in the 90′s with Tony Blair..he seems like he can offer a change to the old guard.
Love the tees by the way, ive emailed my American work colleagues the Down With Obama tee!

I was hoping Obama would win. I know you’re not supposed to judge politicians on personality etc, but this time it really seemed like the US had a choice between ‘new and different’ and ‘old and the same’. Lets hope he actually gets things done!

Barck Obama deserved to win, think he will be a breath of fresh air compared to the war machine AKA Bush!

I agree with the above posts, it was time the replulicans go back to the drawing board like the tories have had to do in the uk.
