Dig out music T-shirts ahead of Classical Brits
13/04/2010
Young classical singer Faryl Smith will go head-to-head with the Pope for a prestigious industry prize.
The Britain's Got Talent contestant has been put forward for two Classical Brit Awards - the youngest person ever to receive a double nomination.
Her debut record will compete with Alma Mater's Music From The Vatican - featuring the voice of Pope Benedict - for the Album of the Year award.
One way to show support for Smith, the pontiff or any of the other nominees is to dig out a music T-shirt and wear it in the run-up to the ceremony on May 13th.
The 14-year-old artist is also in with a chance of securing the Young British Performer title, for which she is up against violinist Jack Liebeck.
Former Hear'say singer and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here contestant Myleene Klass will be on hand to present the awards for the third consecutive year.
