News that the sale of one of the first copies of the Superman comic has broken records - netting $1 million (£644,329) – could leave you wondering just how much you could get for your vintage T-shirts.
Sadly, it's not likely to be anywhere near the price paid by the private collector who snapped up the early edition of Action Comics featuring the iconic hero.
Co-owner of Comic Connect, a US-based auction website, Stephen Fishler described it as "the Holy Grail of comic books".
"It is still a little stunning to see a comic book and $1 million in the same sentence," he noted.
Most people would probably agree with that sentiment, especially as it cost ten cents when it was first released. But if you can't afford a first edition comic, you might want to settle for Superman T-shirts instead.
The cover of the collectable from 1938 features the lycra-clad superhero lifting a car over his head.
As we all know, the crime-fighter hasn't done badly in his seventy-odd years, making the move to the big screen as well as inspiring numerous spin-off series.
It's probably still Christopher Reeve who springs to mind when you think of Superman though.
