Terminator 'will be back'

Terminator has received the cash injection it needed and now there's talk of two more films.

Deadline Hollywood has revealed that William Wisher, co-writer of the first two Terminator movies and friend of director James Cameron, has penned a detailed treatment for Terminator 5 and even outlined a concept for a sixth instalment.

If that's not getting you excited then maybe the revelation that Arnie could, once again, be saying the words "I'll be back" will do the trick.

Mike Fleming from the movie news website said that his character is pencilled in for a part in the sixth film.

Although plot points are thin on the ground at this moment in time and it's still very much in the planning stages (there's no studio on board to actually make the films yet), it's certainly exciting news for fans.

Movie Tshirts featuring the characters and slogans are never far away and news of one (or two) more instalments could see even more flooding the streets.

Terminator has come a long way since it made its first outing in 1984, with a leather-clad Arnie doing what he does best, but it seems there's life in the old robot yet.
