James Cameron walked away with two Golden Globes on Sunday (January 17th) for his sci-fi movie Avatar.
The film picked up the awards for best drama and best director at the star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles.
As he collected the award for best film, Cameron commented: "This is the best job in the world. What we do is make entertainment for a global audience."
Set on the fictional planet of Pandora, the computer generated epic will no doubt inspire the design of many movie T shirts.
The Globes celebrated a range of performances, with Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep picking up the best actress awards in the drama and musical or comedy categories respectively.
It was Jeff Bridges who triumphed to take the title of best drama actor, while Robert Downey Jr walked away with the best comedy or musical actor gong for his role as Sherlock Holmes.
The award for best comedy or musical film went to Todd Phillips' picture The Hangover.
