People running around beating each other up in tight-fitting lycra suits while wearing masks and wigs to "disguise" their identity - it appears that's what you can expect from Kick-Ass if the latest shots from the film are to be believed.
Empire Magazine has given movie fans a sneak preview of this comic adaptation.
Starring Nicholas Cage as Big Daddy and Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl this irreverent take on the super hero phenomena is likely to entertain audiences and may even inspire some funny tee shirts.
Director and producer Matthew Vaughn told the publication that the film is about taking familiar things and "turning them on their head".
"There's nothing in this movie that couldn't, in theory, happen in real life," he said. Although he admitted that the chances of an 11-year-old girl pulling off Hit Girl's stunts was unlikely, Vaughn stressed it's possible.
Vaughn's no stranger to violence with a twist of humour in his movies - previous hits include Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Mean Machine, which he produced.
