Acclaimed horror director Wes Craven will be back at the helm for Scream 4, according to Neve Campbell.
Now living in London, the Canadian actress spoke about the forthcoming movie in a recent interview with online magazine Black Book.
She confirmed that shooting on Scream 4 is due to begin in April next year, with co-stars Courteney Cox and David Arquette also returning for the latest instalment of the popular slasher franchise.
"I'm pretty sure at this stage that Wes [Craven] is back on board to direct and Kevin [Willamson, original scriptwriter] is definitely writing it ... so it is going to be great," Campbell told the publication.
The 36-year-old added: "I think it's going to be a lot of fun and a lot like going back to summer camp."
Released in 1996, the first Scream film inspired a wave of scary masks, T-shirts and other merchandise. It made approximately $173 million (£104 million) at the box office worldwide.
