The Wizard of Oz, one of Hollywood's classic movies, is set to be remade.
According to Deadline, Warner Bros is in early talks with Robert Zemeckis - famed for Back to the Future - about directing the film.
The website suggests the picture will be a live-action remake and plans to use the same Noel Langley script as the 1939 adventure, starring Judy Garland.
It is expected to be a busy time for Oz-related productions in the next few years as Disney are currently working with Sam Raimi on The Great and Powerful Oz, while Drew Barrymore is signed up for Surrender Dorothy, which tracks the adventures of the main character's great great granddaughter.
