Jay-Z and Beyonce 'will duet on Dr Dre record'

Jay-Z and Beyonce are to record together on Dr Dre's new album, it has been announced.

The showbiz couple will duet on the rapper's long-awaited Detox LP, which is expected to be released this year, a source told the Sun.

"Jay and Dre have recorded their verses with the chorus left open for Beyonce to sing ... the producer has worked on Detox for over a decade. He wanted the couple together," the insider was quoted as saying.

If the duet goes ahead, it will be the first time Beyonce and Jay-Z have recorded together for four years.

The couple last collaborated on the 2007 Jay-Z single Hollywood, while the rapper appeared on Beyonce's Crazy in Love in 2003 and Deja Vu in 2006.
