Trent Reznor to return to Nine Inch Nails work

08/03/2011

Trent Reznor has confirmed he will focus on recording with Nine Inch Nails as soon as he is finished scoring his next film.

The frontman - who recently won an Academy Award for his work with Atticus Ross on the The Social Network soundtrack - made the revelation on his band website's forum.

He said: "Atticus and I are hard at work scoring David [Fincher's] next film, which will be opening this Christmas."

"No, Nine Inch Nails is not dead and I plan to focus on that next," added the musician.

Reznor also stated he was continuing work on a new album with other band How To Destroy Angels, which he hoped would be released in the autumn.

Much of the singer's previous work has been with Nine Inch Nails, whose albums include All That Could Have Been, The Downward Spiral and Pretty Hate Machine.

The news might please followers of Nine Inch Nails, who should grab metal t-shirts in the band's honour from 8ball.co.uk
