Dig out funny South Park T-shirts to support new musical

The comedy duo behind hit US show South Park are to open their own musical show.

As such, now could be the time to dig out a funny T-shirt featuring some of the programme's most popular characters, such as Chef and Cartman, as well as their much-loved catchphrases.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker have already penned the script and lyrics for The Book of Mormon, having spent time working with musical creator Robert Lopez.

It is thought that the show will tell the story of Mormon missionaries sent to Africa to spread the word of the church in Uganda and will be directed by Parker and Jason Moore.

The pair said: "Growing up in Colorado, a lot of our friends were Mormons and we always thought their book would make a great musical."

Stone and Parker's iconic show has previously been adapted into South Park - The Movie and the pair have teamed up to produce Team America and Baseketball.
