Pay tribute to Dave Grohl with rock t-shirts

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl was among the big winners at this year's Shockwaves NME Awards.

The annual event was held at London's Brixton Academy last night (February 24th) and saw a number of famous faces including actress and singer Juliette Lewis, Kate Moss and fiance Jamie Hince, Muse and Mark Ronson being snapped on the red carpet.

The former Nirvana drummer was the first American recipient of the magazine's Godlike Genius award and musicians and stars including Jack Black, Josh Homme, Paul McCartney and John Paul Jones paid tribute to him in a video montage as he took to the stage.

The frontman then joined his band to perform at the ceremony.
