Killers drummer announces solo album title
21/03/2011
The title of a solo album by The Killers' drummer Ronnie Vannucci has been announced.
Vannucci's debut record, which features former Weezer bassist Matt Sharp, will be called Big Talk, NME reports.
The percussionist told the publication he is not yet prepared to perform songs from the LP to a live audience, although the thought of gigging is clearly on the drummer's mind.
"I'm not ready to be getting my hair curled and hitting the big stage ... from a practical point of view it makes sense to try it out guerrilla style," he said.
The sticksman - who played on Killers tracks like Mr Brightside, All These Things That I've Done and Smile Like You Mean It - has enlisted the help of friend Tyler Milne to play on the new record.
Why not celebrate the release of Vannucci's debut solo album by purchasing music memorabilia that honour The Killers from 8ball.co.uk?
