Show support for Joe Perry with rock T-shirt

23/07/2010

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has admitted he feared his future could be spent playing gigs in a wheelchair, following a motorcycle accident last week.

The guitarist was hit by a car from behind in Middleborough, Massachusetts after pulling away from a set of traffic lights but managed to escape without any broken bones or even a bruise.

Fans of the band might wish to show their support for Perry with a new rock T-shirt from the range available at 8ball.co.uk.

"I had visions of playing shows in a wheelchair," the guitarist told Rolling Stone ahead of the band's upcoming US tour.

He said: "I've been in enough accidents to know that you don't know how banged up you are for a while."

In June, Aerosmith headlined the Download Festival, which took place at Donington Park in Derbyshire. It was the band's first performance in the UK since playing Hard Rock Calling in 2007.
