Noel Gallagher was full of praise for former rival Damon Albarn of Blur at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards on Tuesday (September 7th) evening.
The outspoken ex-Oasis man was at the ceremony to present the Outstanding Achievement gong to Ray Davies.
However, the Mancunian guitarist used the opportunity to state he was pleased to see Gorillaz succeed in the best band category.
"Gorillaz definitely deserve some kind of award - if only for having 104 people onstage at Glastonbury," he said.
He joked the rider for the group must have been more complicated to organise than a Big Brother shopping list.
Fans of Gallagher, famed for his part in tracks including Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova and Don't Look Back In Anger, could pick up a new music T-shirt in his honour from the range available at 8ball.co.uk.
A range of colours are available to select from, which could suit a variety of tastes.
